What a top day
Got to Cooden just after midday, already 3 there discussing this 'n' that.
One rigged 6.0m and 95ish litre board ... planed right off the beach and
that was the cue for rigging and more arrivals. Was a little overcast, but
brightening up, just like Basher promised
Went out on 6.4m Remedy & Rocket 115 initially and had a great time chop
bothering and blasting until decided it'd filled in too much .... rigged
5.6m Remedy & 3S97 and played until my body said no more. Approx 4 hours in
total on the water. GPS showed 23.9 knots vmax on the Rocket but it wasn't
flat water so will definately go much quicker.
Got home in time to see Wales show England how to play proper rugby too ,
while enjoying a nice curry cooked by the boss.
What a quality day all round and I don't give a t*ss if it snows monday
now
gets 5 stars coz of the way the whole day panned out, was a 4-1/2 star
session on the water for this time of year but the rugby result warrants a
bonus 1/2 star for sure ;-)
